Yesterday I went shopping and bought some new flip flops. I also went to a thrift store looking for treasure and found something kind of cool! I found a 1976 commemorative bicentennial 7UP bottle! Its pretty sweet.
Today, is the Morrison County Relay for Life, well, more like tonight is. I decorated a bunch of the luminaries and the ceremony starts at 10pm. It will be at the school in Little Falls. So if anyone is in the area you should come check it out and visit! I am not technically on a team, but I will be there with Ben's Battalion. They will be sporting the gray Relay for Life shirts because gray is the color for brain cancer. I really can't remember if I have blogged about it before, but last summer doctors discovered a 6cm tumor in my grandpa's brain. Doctors at the MAYO clinic performed a surgery to try to remove the tumor. Because of the location, they weren't able to remove all of it. After removing what they could they discovered that it was glioblastoma multiforme. Since then he has been having different treatments to try to shrink it. They have seen it grow and then recently he has been on an experimental chemo and they have seen it shrink. This form of cancer is not curable, only treatable. Ben's Battalion has raised over $3500. So, tonight, we walk for the cure of cancer.
