Okay so I started working at McDonalds. I worked 40 hours a week and mostly during the day. At first there wasn't anything real exciting about it. But like any job, you get used to it and start to talk to people and get to know them. The friendships I started at McDonalds were great. After awhile we started to party together and I have to say this is probably the thing I miss THE MOST! Thomas, Garrett, Amanda, Heather, Scottie, everyone, I love you and we had the best time ever! The summer ended, and the short Montana fall began. Life was pretty good. I was hanging out with all my new friends a lot. Parties at Clint and Pennie's had to be the best though. We drank Captain Morgan, and did whatever. But when Wayne was home ah man, bring out the Crown Royal.
I have to say that Wayne was one of my best friends there. He was a great guy. We texted every single day, and pretty much fell asleep texting each other. We played a game that we just called, "yours." He asked me random questions, normal questions, and life questions and I asked back. We learned a lot about each other. Wayne was always there for me whenever I had a question about anything. I called him when I was having problems with my roommate, his brother, and I called him other times just because I was bored. So when Wayne came to Bozeman, we had a blast all the time. I loved the guy, not in that way, as a friend. We went on a few adventures together, my favorite was when he took me up towards the reservoir and we played around with my camera. It makes me so sad right now because that film didn't turn out. Walmart ruined it. If I could have anything from the time Wayne and I spent together I wish I had that roll of film back. Wayne also took me home one time. He was going to visit his fiance in Grand Forks, so Wayne brought me to Fargo where my mom and dad picked me up. That trip was great, I wish I would have taken pictures. We played a game where we had to try and pronounce the names of the towns. Since then everytime I drive by a sign and I don't know the real name of the town I think of him. One time Wayne was staying at our house, I had to go to class, but Wayne was texting me the whole time. He was bored and I told him to get out my paints and paint something. He's not the artistic kind of guy, but I was happy to come home and see what he painted. I would give anything to have that painting, anything!
Syd and I also became really close. We hung out a lot, and usually went for drives when we needed to vent about anything in our lives. Everytime I listen to Blue October's album, Foiled I am instantly brought back to those moments when we went for one of our drives. We did crazy stuff together. We dyed each other's hair, went to Walmart for no reason at all, and once we even came back from Walmart with a Creepy Crawlers oven thing and made bugs.
Pennie, I think she would have been an older sister figure to me. She is one of the coolest people I have ever met. She taught me to crochet one day. I still to this day have not finished what I started with her, but I have made other projects and finished them. Pennie was always there for me to talk to. Her and Clint are two of the most understanding people that I have ever met. Pennie is a great photographer, and she spent a day with me going out and taking pictures.
Clint, an older brother figure to me, was great. He was smart, and was always there when Wayne wasn't to help me with the issues with Scott. Sitting out on the deck talking to him was always fun. I remember one time he came out to talk to me just as I sat in a camping chair that happened to be full of rain water. Oops. Great times.
Sometimes I really wish that I had stayed in Bozeman. Thinking about the fun times I missed out on with these guys makes me sad. I hope one day I can go back and visit and we will have just as much fun as we did those few months that we hung out.
And so summer ended, fall ended and so did a lot of things. Wayne stopped talking to me on Thanksgiving Day and didn't talk to me for months. Whenever he came to Bozeman I didn't know about it and I was never invited to hang out. Why, you may ask? I never ever got a real answer. Wayne's fiance broke up with him and from what I heard from the others was that Wayne felt that he was talking to me and a few of his other close girl friends so much and wasn't concentrating on his own relationship. I was crushed. So that was the end of that. Wayne was crushed and I was crushed by not being able to be there for him. To be continued...

Montana, Part II
Where was I??
Okay so I had just moved to Montana, that in itself was an interesting trip, I rode with my mom and my two brothers in my Lincoln Continental. At the time Mom and I were the only ones that could drive. We take off at about 10pm and drove straight through the night. Overall it was a good trip til oh say 5am when my car started over heating. Then my front window fell all the way down and I had to drive in the freezing mountain morning with cold air blowin in my face. So I moved into an apartment with Scott. It was a nice place. A great first place to live without the parents. We were maybe 6 or 7 blocks away from campus. I started with classes and was only taking 2 the first semester. (Out of state tuition is not cheap!) I was taking a literature class and a Philosophy class. They went great. I worked hard in my classes, I even got a few As on some English papers. Of course I did well on my quizzes in Philosophy. Anyways back to just moving in. It was great, Scott took me to meet his friends, the first group was crazy and scary. But when we went to Clint and Pennie's for the first time, I was excited. I had heard about them and I had also heard that Pennie's little sister Syd had just moved in with them and she was my age. So I went there and met them. Wayne, Scott's brother was also there with his fiance Andi and Ally and Adam some other friends were there. I of course was shy, but still had fun. I ended up hanging out with them a lot for the rest of the summer. Scott and I went to Helena with Clint and Pennie to hang out with Wayne. What a fun weekend! We went to a river and swung out of a tree into the river. Not the normal rope swing. We had to climb about 15 feet up into the tree and stand on a platform and swing out over the river. Scary! Clint, Scott, and Wayne all went. Pennie went up the tree and stood there and then I went up and stood there with her. Finally I sucked it up and jumped! Yeah so when you are swinging that high up the only thing going through your mind is to keep holding onto the rope. Nothing goes through your mind telling you to lift your legs...anyways, feet hit the water I came to a sudden stop and pretty sure my shirt, bra, everything went up up up!!! After I quickly recovered from the shock, I covered myself and decided NOT to jump again. Knowing what I know now, I would have jumped one more time, just to make the day more memorable. Anyways, it was fun. Back in Bozeman, it was my number one priority to find a job. I applied at about 6 places and only got a call back from Perkins. They wanted me as a hostess and offered $5 and hour. I said I would get back to them. Looking for something better, and knowing that McDonalds was hiring I went in and talked to the store manager. He was nice and offered me the job without a application. I went to orientation that same day. Oh and in case it makes the story more interesting, I was offered a trial period of $8 and if I made it through that they would bump it up to $9 an hour. So I started working at McDonalds. That is a story in itself.

Memories of the Best Time of my Life, may be boring to some. sorry
When I lived in Montana, I loved it. I loved it more than I have ever loved living in a place. I spent 2 summers at my aunt's house in Deer Lodge Montana. When I was 15 and 16. Even though it was just for the summer I had the time of my life. I am pretty sure that small trip and break from regular life made me who I am today.
When I was a senior in high school, everyone around me was deciding what to do with the rest of their lives. I on the other hand, had it figured out. I knew where I was going, where I wanted to go. I had myself dead set on going to the College of St. Scholastica, yes, private, catholic. Me there. All figured out. I went on a tour of the campus, my parents were happy about it. I got a free shirt for applying for the college. I bought the Champion sweater shirt. I was dead set on it. Until I was tempted. Tempted by friends. I won't get into the details. Anyways the offer was that I would go to Montana, I could go to Montana State University in Bozeman Montana. I would not live on campus, one thing at the time I didn't want. I would have an apartment, a place of my own! What could be better!
So I bit the hook! Before I could talk myself out of it, I was crazy! Montana!! Again! How could I say no?! As my mother said, I made a "rash" decision. Meaning that I made a decision too fast without really thinking about it. In my mind "rash" is something you get when running in the woods and brushing up against some poison ivy, therefore getting an itch that no matter how much you scratch it, it continues to itch! (After thinking about that I know right now I have a rash. Not from poison ivy, but from the travel bug. No matter how much I scratch it, it never goes away. I don't think it ever will.) ANYWAYS! So there I was, ready for going to my expensive college, waiting for the email telling me my roommate's email so we could "develop" a relationship over the summer. Well, instead I just decided to move to Bozeman, live with Scott and that was that. I was excited beyond belief!
I knew that because I was so exctited that it was probably the right thing to do. Going to Scholastica, I would have gotten a good education, but for some reason going there didn't quite do it for me. I moved to Bozeman in July after graduation. It was GREAT! There was a lot of drama, but for the most part, I made so many good friends! I didn't stick with the whole school thing for very long.

WOW!! Update and more!!
Ok so I haven't been writing on here very much since I have been home, but now I will take the time to update!!
Christmas came and went, I had a great time at both family events and also had fun playing pool with some old friends on Christmas day!!
I spent an entire week at my aunt and uncle's cabin on Lake of the Woods. I went fishing and had a great time catching up on the lives of my childhood friends. I speared a Northern Pike which was a great story!! I was with Brian, my cousin and Joe his friend, and Ashley, my cousin Mike's fiance. SO the four of us went spearing, of course the guys were nice and let me and Ash sleep in and picked us up when they had the house set up. We sat around and drank beer while watching for a fish. Well a fish came to my hole and there I was with the spear, Joe was helping me, and I just kept stabbing at it like I was trying to spear a pickle in the pickle jar! Hahah I feel so special sometimes. Anyways that fish needed to be taken out. I was jabbing at it and it just stayed there and never swam away. So in all reality Joe really got the fish because he took the spear and actually let go of it so it could hit the fish. I still took a pic of it with me and Joe still says it was mine! HAha.
I also caught a bunch of walleyes while fishing and saugers. I had a lot of fun. Slept and missed New Years, but I woke up at about 12:15 and had a drink of champagne. Then my favorite aunt came up and we fished some more and drank a lot. All in all it was a very fun week.
This week I have been getting down to serious business. Wedding business that is!! I have gone to the craft store a few times and got some ideas. I pretty much know what I want now I just have to get crackin to get it done. Everything is lined up with the church, Ro and I have to do a marriage course on a DVD and fill out workbooks. Fun fun. I am working on my decorations right now. I think I have a pretty good idea set up I just have to add it all up and figure out what it will cost for all the tables and stuff. I have to figure out invitations and a few other things too. I can't wait to just have everything ready. I also tried on my wedding dress, well a wedding dress, but pretty much I absolutely LOVE it and will probably get it. It was quite an overwhelming experience! I have exactly 7 months til the wedding!!Ah man I can't wait. Now I can really get excited about it and since I plan on working right away when I get back to Chile I will once again have my hands full. There will be no time to be dpressed about being once again in Chile!
So far 2009 has been good! I can't wait to enjoy the rest of my time here in good ol Minnesota! And then get back into Chile to be with Rodrigo again! If all goes well we may actually be moving into an apartment!! Can't wait!! Peace out!
