Being back with my little dog has been a lot of fun. Although every time I leave she gets mad at me, when I get back I am pretty sure she forgets all about it. I still don't have a camera and it doesn't look like I will have one anytime soon, so no pictures, sorry. But I will tell you about my crazy dog and her little quirks that I just love!!
Zoe hates house flies that, or she really enjoys chasing them. Last night I was reading on my bed and Zoe was sleeping on a pile of clothes in the corner. Then a fly flew into the room. Zoe was awake instantly with her one ear standing up. She watched and watched and waited. When the fly got anywhere near her she snapped at it, chased it and lost it of course. So she sat back down and watched her head twitchin and turning every time the buzz got anywhere close to her. Silly dog. She never did catch the fly. Zoe also hogs my bed. Yes, a tiny 8 pound Yorkshire couldn't possible hog a full size bed, right? Wrong. Zoe is a bed hog! She will cuddle her way into the middle of the bed and then turn so she is taking up the whole middle of the bed. It drives me crazy and I know that I have been getting bad nights of sleep because of this little dog, but I can't seem to kick her off the bed. It still amazes me that she will eat anything. I mean anything. Watermelon, carrots, green beans, and of course hot dogs, brats, and any other little meat treat she can get her paws on. I just can't believe she likes fruit and veggies so much. My brother and I laugh and make fun of her saying she is some kind of goat, cat, dog, and rabbit. She licks her paws and cleans her face with them, she eats anything, and when we go for a four wheeler ride you can see Zoe hopping along behind us so she can get a view of us over the tall weeds. Zoe also loves being outside with Bailey the black lab. They have this game that they like to play, especially if people are watching and laughing that them. They play tag! Zoe will run up and nip Bailey and then run away and Bailey will chase after her and it goes back and forth over and over until they get tired. They also enjoy swimming together in the creek. Although Bailey can bring back the biggest sticks thrown into the water, Zoe sure does try to keep up with her little twigs. She even tries to take the big sticks from Bailey but then gets water in her nose and gives up on that. The other thing that she does is every single time I let her in, she runs to her food bowl to see if there's food there.... there always is, but she always darts to it to check it out anyways. Maybe she's looking for a treat or something. But I have a lot of fun with her and sometimes I wish she could stay here and have all the space to run and play. Well, off to bake some brownies and brown some hamburger for our weekend up at Lake of the Woods!! :o) Can't wait to use my fishing skills again!!! I hope everyone has a great 4th of July!!

I've hung a wish on every star, it hasn't done much good so far.
"Star Light, Star bright, the first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might have the wish I make tonight."
I'm sure everyone knows this children's rhyme. It is from America, 19th century to be exact. So if you don't know it then google it. When I was little, I never really knew about this until the first time I saw Pinocchio and from then on I would make my little kid wishes on the first star I saw at night. I know my wishes back then were something silly, probably that I would get what I asked for for Christmas or for some kind of toy to just appear out of nowhere. I never really got the concept that when Geppetto made a wish that what he wished for was something greater than an easy material wish. I don't really make wishes on the first star I see at night anymore. I save my wishes for shooting stars. When I was younger on shooting stars I would almost always wish for the same things as on the first star of the night. Then, when I was older I would wish for a boyfriend, wish I would overnight become the best basketball player on the team, (or just good enough that I would get to play more than the last 20 seconds of the game...) sometimes I wished that I wouldn't get in trouble for whatever I did... : P naughty kid... But, now at 22, honestly, yes, I do wish on shooting stars. Of course my wishes have become much less childish, but really it all boils down to the same thing. Wishes don't come true unless you make them, so there's no point of wishing for things that are 100% impossible or things that you yourself really cannot fix or change. What you wish for pretty much just tells you what you are not getting out of life that you want to, or that you aren't working hard enough to get it. I could wish on every single star, of course it would take almost forever, but I still wouldn't get what I wished for unless I myself actually did something to get it. So, enough of this wishing.... I need to make things happen. The end.

So Here I am.
I've been in Minnesota for 4 days now. The weather is amazing, spending time with family and friends is amazing, but being away from Rodrigo just BLOWS!!!! I feel like I live 2 separate lives, the life with my family and friends and having so much fun that time flies by way too fast, but I am always missing and thinking about Ro. And the life in Santiago, the one that I really don't enjoy. I love being with my hubby everyday I love love love cooking for him and kissing him goodnight before he rolls over and I cuddle up to him. But really what I am missing in Stgo is family and friends. Nobody gives me the time of day to become a friend and Ro's family is separated and takes sides and gets jealous to the point that I don't even want to try to spend time with anyone because I am always "hurting someone's feelings" for spending 1 hour more with that side of the family instead of the other. I have also decided that the crap that I have been coughing up HAS to have something to do with the smog that built up in my lungs that past almost 6 months. Gross. I also have to admit that I may be afraid of the dark. Driving at night here really gives me the creeps. I'm so used to having the street lights everywhere and here its damn dark! And the STARS!!! I love it!! I can see them and I can hear the crickets chirping and I love love love love being in thecountry. I am NOT a city girl and I really don't think I can convert.... Stgo is just not for me.... :( maybe we can move to the country in Chile... or Ro will just give into it and we can move to the US!! I hope! Well gotta go hug my niece!! Little goober!! She's so damn smart and cute!!! :D
