I'm Back!!! :D Finallllly!!!

So, after my not so terrible because I got to see family that I never see delay in Atlanta, and the other delay that made our flight 2 hours late and from one gate to the next the last hour we were waiting, I am in Chile. Well, I have been in Chile since Tuesday morning, but after all that fun, I was completely beat! I was nodding off on the car ride home which is very very strange because my husband is a taxi driver and drives like a bat flying out of hell. Usually it takes me weeks to get used to the hustle and bustle of Santiago drivers, but I was past the point of caring. It wasn't a bad flight at all. I spent like 4 hours with a nice little family in the airport. They had been in the US since before the earthquake! There was 4 of them, a mom and her three kids. They all spoke English and Spanish. So it wasn't boring at all waiting for my flight out! The flight was good, I had a window seat and even though I sat next to a smelly man, I was just happy to be on my way to Ro!!! I gave Zoe her medicine and she passed out almost instantly. I however did not. I maybe slept 4 hours total on the flight. The one good nap I got in I was abruptly woken to very rough air and lightening outside my window. I only panicked for 10 seconds.... maybe 30 hahaha. I just closed the window and went back to sleep. Well, tried to. When we were getting closer I was getting nervous about Zoe and all the requirements and paper work. I looked it all over and then again and again. I had to sit at the SAG desk for a bit and the lady looked at my papers and in Spanglish told me that since I had a health certificate, Zoe didn't have to be quarantined through them, she just has to stay in our house for 21 days. I of course won't be following that because : D Ro and I will be moving before that!! So, she's coming with us!!! Before I get too excited about that, I have to tell you all that I slept for 8 hours Tuesday, then went to bed at 9pm with Ro! He's so freaking warm if he wasnt in my bed I think I would freeze to death overnight! Ro went to work yesterday morning while I was supposed to be packing except I didn't even wake up til 11am! Yeah. I think I am caught up on sleep now! After work Ro picked me up and we went to..... hell  I mean the extranjeria. It was beyond packed, in fact I have never seen it that packed before. There wasn't a seat open, there wasn't even room to walk to a spot where we could see the number counting thingy. It was at 73 when we got there and my number was 143. We got there at 1 and stayed there til 4.... fun fun. I was very worried abotu going there because the paper that I had the temporary one that you get when you have to wait for that other paper telling you to go to the extranjeria was expired and I never received the other one before I left for the US. So I was thinking that I would have to start all the crap over again. But our number was up we went up there and he printed it off and stamp, I now have a temporary visa!! After that we went to the mall for lunch. I love that Ro gets the exact same sub at Subway as me. We can just get a footlong and they even put half pickles and half cucumbers for us. Ro also puts ketchup on his half and I put avacado on mine. Ketchup on a sub : P what a wierdo!! After that we went to see the house!! And its UGLY!! But, after seeing it in person versus photos and ipod taken videos, I can definitely make it 50 times better. It really just needs paint, cleaning, new curtains, and some area rugs.... lots of area rugs. But after that it won't be so bad. I think the blue tub, sink and toilet might even grow on me after a bit. The only serious problem I see is that it smells horrible! If anyone knows how to get the smell of cat piss out of a house please let me in on it! I will try anything it smells soo bad. I was thinking of just pouring baking soda everywhere to try to soak up the stink. I think a few days of that might help. And all my excessive cleaning with bleach might help the stink too. On a side note, MIL thinks the house is perfectly clean. And thinks I am crazy for wanting to clean the walls and floors. Especially the walls. She thinks I should just paint over the dirt and dust. I can't wait til next Monday because we are going to the feria on Sunday to get a bunch of cleaning supplies and Monday I get to start cleaning. At least I will have something to do while Ro is working. We are going to the international police next Wednesday in the morning to do whatever it is I have to do there... I really don't even remember and then I think to the registro civil to do that ID paperwork?? I really don't know.... hahaha. If all goes well, we will be moving our stuff into the house, and the 31st will be our first night in our own home!!! I am planning a delicious meal for our anniversary since we both would rather spend it in the new house cooking together than going out to eat somewhere. Anyways off to being bored.... I am proud to say that I am 100% unpacked from my trip, this has to be a new record for me... usually it takes me a week... sometimes 2!!
