My Two Ponders for the Week!

1. Does anyone ever notice that women will put on makeup, and then in a colectivo at 8 in the morning, 8 in the morning people, so they got up got ready to go to work and then got in the colectivo and of course pulled out there bag full of make up crap and start....what?? touching up?? reapplying?? caking on shit that they don't need?? Anyways the girl sitting next to us, Ro and I, this morning pulled out her makeup bg and a broken slab of mirror and went at it. From where we live to the metro, she reapplied her effing lip gloss 4 times!! 4 times in like 10 minutes!! I probably wouldn't have noticed it if she didn't make this disgusting lip smacking/slimy tongue clicking sound!! Seriously?? Then she pulled out her slab of mirror again and lookd at herself from every angle elbowing Ro like 50 times made pouty faces at herself then went to the subway. Come on people!!!


2. Grape jelly?? Does it not exist here or am I just stupidly blind?? I have been craving PB&J like crazy, but I really really want grape jelly on my sandwich. I mean raspberry or strawberry is good, but there's nothing like a big delicious bite of a PB&J made with grape jelly! Now I try to think of a reason why there wouldn't be grape jelly in this country of all countries and I draw damn near a blank! Maybe they have to use all the grapes for wine, raisins, and exporting grapes to other coutries?? I just can't figure it out! Chile is like the grape capital of the world!! But still I can't find grape jelly anywhere!!! If anyone knows where I can find this please please please let me know!! OR if someone wants to send me some from the US, I won't say no to a giant Sam's Club sized jar of Welch's Grape Jelly!!!
