Being back with my little dog has been a lot of fun. Although every time I leave she gets mad at me, when I get back I am pretty sure she forgets all about it. I still don't have a camera and it doesn't look like I will have one anytime soon, so no pictures, sorry. But I will tell you about my crazy dog and her little quirks that I just love!!
Zoe hates house flies that, or she really enjoys chasing them. Last night I was reading on my bed and Zoe was sleeping on a pile of clothes in the corner. Then a fly flew into the room. Zoe was awake instantly with her one ear standing up. She watched and watched and waited. When the fly got anywhere near her she snapped at it, chased it and lost it of course. So she sat back down and watched her head twitchin and turning every time the buzz got anywhere close to her. Silly dog. She never did catch the fly. Zoe also hogs my bed. Yes, a tiny 8 pound Yorkshire couldn't possible hog a full size bed, right? Wrong. Zoe is a bed hog! She will cuddle her way into the middle of the bed and then turn so she is taking up the whole middle of the bed. It drives me crazy and I know that I have been getting bad nights of sleep because of this little dog, but I can't seem to kick her off the bed. It still amazes me that she will eat anything. I mean anything. Watermelon, carrots, green beans, and of course hot dogs, brats, and any other little meat treat she can get her paws on. I just can't believe she likes fruit and veggies so much. My brother and I laugh and make fun of her saying she is some kind of goat, cat, dog, and rabbit. She licks her paws and cleans her face with them, she eats anything, and when we go for a four wheeler ride you can see Zoe hopping along behind us so she can get a view of us over the tall weeds. Zoe also loves being outside with Bailey the black lab. They have this game that they like to play, especially if people are watching and laughing that them. They play tag! Zoe will run up and nip Bailey and then run away and Bailey will chase after her and it goes back and forth over and over until they get tired. They also enjoy swimming together in the creek. Although Bailey can bring back the biggest sticks thrown into the water, Zoe sure does try to keep up with her little twigs. She even tries to take the big sticks from Bailey but then gets water in her nose and gives up on that. The other thing that she does is every single time I let her in, she runs to her food bowl to see if there's food there.... there always is, but she always darts to it to check it out anyways. Maybe she's looking for a treat or something. But I have a lot of fun with her and sometimes I wish she could stay here and have all the space to run and play. Well, off to bake some brownies and brown some hamburger for our weekend up at Lake of the Woods!! :o) Can't wait to use my fishing skills again!!! I hope everyone has a great 4th of July!!

I'm actually loving being back with my cat here too. It makes being here a little more tolerable. My parents say it's obvious he missed me because he's being much more social. Cats are weird like that though :p
